Audiences

Versions of each program listed in the Topics section are available for a variety of audiences, such as those listed below.

Businesses and Other Workplaces More employers are discovering that work/life balance programs help with recruitment, employee satisfaction and retention. Our money management workshops can be an important part of such programs, leading to:
  1. Higher Productivity. Money problems can be a distraction that takes people’s focus off their work and can even cause health problems. Helping people improve their financial skills and confidence frees them to focus on their work.
  2. Increased Pay Satisfaction. No matter how much a person makes, it’s common to feel underpaid. Learning how to make the most from what a person makes—no matter how little or how much—helps them feel more satisfied with their income.
  3. More Retirement Plan Participation. Nearly one-third of eligible employees do not participate in their company’s 401(k) program. Developing a vision for their later years and learning how to use a simple-yet-powerful tool such as a household budget helps people find the money to save.

Our workplace programs are available to fit a variety of schedules—from six-hour workshops to one-hour lunch & learn programs.

Colleges and Universities. No matter what field new grads go into, well over a million dollars will likely pass through their hands over the course of their careers. They can begin to develop productive money management habits while finishing their college careers that greatly improve their odds for life-long financial success.

Our What Will You Do With Your Millions? workshop teaches juniors, seniors, and graduate students the essential money management habits that will benefit them for a lifetime.

Churches and Ministries. Apparently, God knew we’d need some help learning how to manage money because the Bible contains over 2,000 verses on that topic. Our Bible-based workshops and other programs are well-suited for a variety of church and other ministry venues, including: adult Bible study classes, breakfast meetings, youth events, outreach events, staff training, retreats, campus-based ministry meetings, mom’s group meetings, conferences, and more. Matt has also delivered the Sunday message at several churches.

“Quite possibly the greatest failure of the modern church is to provide our culture with an alternative to how the world views money. If you want someone that is leading the charge to influence a culture back to biblical financial principles, Matt can help. With clarity, humor, and practical insights, Matt delivers a workshop that is geared towards changing people’s hearts and minds about money.”
