Alexander, Who Used to Be Rich Last Sunday

Last Sunday, Alexander was rich. His grandparents had given him a dollar. But when there's gum, and toys, and other temptations all around, it isn't easy for a young child hang onto a dollar.

This classic story (first published in 1978) helps teach kids a valuable lesson about being intentional in their use of money.

Praise for the book, “Money, Purpose, Joy.”

“Matt Bell is, I believe, one of today’s outstanding communicators. He has written a book that is, first of all, very personal in nature as opposed to theoretical. As a consequence, this book is very relevant to anyone who reads it. It is a tremendous integration of faith and finances. This book will undoubtedly have a very long life; I recommend it enthusiastically.”
